Bill's Page

I was born and raised in San Diego, California.  In 1985 I moved to Mira Mesa, a suburb here in San Diego.  I'm divorced with 3 kids: Jarrod - 26, Kyle - 18, and Kate - 17.  Click the Kid's Pages button to the left to see their web pages.

I am a private pilot, certificated Airframe and Powerplant Technician with Inspection Authorization, and an avid aviation enthusiast. I own a couple of planes including this 1947 Stinson Voyager which is currently undergoing restoration  Stinson isn't in business anymore, but they had a long history of designing and manufacturing high-quality long-lasting aircraft both for civilian and military uses. Click on the picture to see a desert landing.

Here's the Luscombe that my Dad and I owned in the 70's.  It's the only photo I have of it after my collection was stolen in 95.  We sold the plane (huge mistake) to a good friend of mine right after I got married.  He later traded it to a local guy for a different plane.  That guy crashed it after apparently have a medical problem while flying--turns out he had a history of medical issues and was not supposed to be flying.  They're both gone now.
